We have an opportunity available for MDM Business Data Analyst to join our team in the Rahway, New Jersey Technology Center. In this important role you will help the MDM Platform Team with Master Data Management technical implementations from initiation till handover to support teams.

Functional Responsibilities:

  • As MDM Business Data Analyst, you be part of Master Data Management (MDM) Product Line, working with colleagues within the team and with our divisional partners to help us design and build global master and reference data management systems to support our company’s core business.

  • You will help the MDM Platform Team in discussions with business stakeholders to analyze their requirements and work with technical team to convert the business requirements into technical solution.

  • You will help the MDM Platform Team and business stakeholders to prioritize and update the documented current state of existing MDM solutions to modernize and migrate those solutions to a SaaS platform.

  • You will help us by analyzing data in our company’s production and analytical systems and helping us understand data structures and how these data structures currently support existing business processes that either create these data sets or are based on these data sets.

  • You will meet with business/IT focal points to understand the processes that lead to creation, transfer, or transformation of master or reference data in selected company IT systems and use that knowledge to communicate with internal technical team to build the right technical solutions for our business partners.

  • You will help the Master Data Management (MDM) team in identifying the trusted sources of data and the right type of data that can connect or supplement existing central MDM and Reference Data Management (RDM) solutions and benefit its consumers.

  • Based on your findings you will help us enhance current global MDM and RDM systems with datasets best fitted to support global business processes, provide insights into what is the best way to connect these data sets together and what is required for keeping the quality of the data by designing effective data stewardship processes.

  • Your work will enable the MDM Platform team in building the right global MDM and RDM solutions, enable central reusable hierarchical data structures and develop strategic system integrations to have enhanced and insightful master and reference data for our users.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum BS Degree in IT, data analysis, business analysis or related discipline.

  • 3-5 years of experience in Data Management/IT/Business Analysis area.

  • Experience with Master Data Management and/or Reference Data Management systems.

  • Skilled in using data analysis tools and processes and able to derive meaningful information and present it clearly.

  • Proven experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies like waterfall, agile, etc.

  • Skilled in SQL queries, data modelling and data extractions using API.

  • Self-driven with strong organization and prioritization skills.

  • Strong presentation and communication skills towards technical and business audience in person and remotely.

  • Experience working in multinational and multi-cultural environment.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a geographically dispersed environment.

  • Ability to facilitate discussions with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, priorities, limitations, and restrictions and document them clearly.

  • Love for analyzing data and identifying improvement opportunities best on analytical findings.

  • Ability to multi-task and work within time constraints.

  • Willing to occasionally travel to meet business stakeholders and attend workshops in Prague or Singapore.

Preferred:

  • Experience in Pharma industry.

  • Background working on IT systems developed and maintained based on compliance regulations such as GxP or SOX.

  • Knowledge of drug lifecycle processes, pharma customer data management would be big plus.

  • Experience with pharma industry standard data sources like IQVIA, etc.

  • Experience with collaboration / development tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, Teams, Jenkins etc.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Expected salary range:

$111,400.00 – $175,300.00
