Do you want to be part of this dynamic and passionate multi-cultural team? Are you a motivated business development expert with some experience of the EU tendering process? We are looking for a full-time Business Development Coordinator for an immediate position to support our busy team. Working with multiple priorities and within tight deadlines, you will help to coordinate the entire proposal process from initial identification of potential opportunities to the final delivery of a high-quality product. Milieu operates in a highly collaborative environment, but you would need to provide strong leadership across multiple stakeholders – both internal and external – whilst maintaining healthy long-term working relationships with all parties.

Key qualifications for the position:

  • University Degree (European Affairs, Business Administration, International Studies, or similar). More technical profiles with previous exposure to EU tendering will be considered;
  • A minimum of 2 years of previous experience in Business Development and Tendering in an EU consultancy environment. This includes (but is not limited to): identification of opportunities, preparation of proposals, identification of partners and experts, budgeting & pricing, formatting and editing, management of framework contracts and general administration;
  • Experience of negotiating with partners and/or contractors;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including diplomacy. Positive attitude;
  • A genuine interest for business development;
  • A “can-do” take charge, self starting personality;
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly MS Office;
  • Excellent planning, organisational and multi-tasking skills;
  • Meticulous attention to detail. Ability to meet strict deadlines and adapt quickly to changes under pressure;
  • Excellent English. Knowledge of other EU-language(s) would be an asset.
