Position Summary
The role sits within the newly formed Interactive Displays Team where our goal is to increase the adoption of Samsung Interactive Displays within the UK education sector.
Samsung is the global market leader in professional displays and has No.1 market share in many of the segments that we operate including large format displays and hospitality TV. The successful candidate joining the team will have the opportunity to shape the local market strategy from the outset and help to build a new business in a well-established vertical.
The Displays Division is a team of over 40 people dedicated to maintaining Samsung’s market lead in displays and professional signage, including desktop monitors, large format displays, modular LED wall displays and Hotel TVs all of which we supply into professional markets.
Role and Responsibilities
Your Key Responsibilities:
To develop Interactive Display business within the UK Education market through reseller activation and growth plans, distribution account management and end user engagement. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of the education technology landscape and understand the routes to market in order to position the Samsung portfolio.

The role will focus on the growth of Interactive Displays as well as the wider display and Samsung product portfolio into the education sector.

Account management of key reseller partners to improve share of wallet

Ability to identify and engage with new partners to gain wider market coverage

Support distribution with promotional planning and marketing execution

Support reseller partners with product demonstrations at end user level.

Work alongside product management, marketing and business operations to activate new product launches and maximise the effectiveness of promotions market wide.

Build and maintain your pipeline on salesforce, using this data to provide accurate forecasting into our supply chain team, along with your Line Manager.
What we need for this role
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

The ability to plan, identify and implement a growth strategy to increase sales within the education vertical

The interpersonal and communication skills to work with a variety of different customer personas, from technical specialists to senior leadership.

Must have demonstrable customer facing experience
-
Hands on approach with the ability to demonstrate a product to all levels of stakeholders
-
Experience of process and pricing management for project and tender responses.
-
Extensive industry network and ability to widen network where required.
-
Experience in education channel/end user sales, preferably within AV/IT industry.

Knowledgeable in Education technology and understands industry terminology
-
Experience using Salesforce or other CRM/Pipeline management tools
-
Self-starter, with exceptional time management and prioritisation skills.
