Do you want to work at a growing digital agency to foster client relationships and build client success? Evolving Web is looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand to new markets and proactively grow our client list. You will work together with Evolving Web’s leadership team to design and implement a successful sales strategy. We are looking for someone with skills and experience in sales and business development to help achieve our growth goals in a way that is in line with Evolving Web’s vision and mission.In your role as Business Development Manager, you will be expected to:
- Seek out new clients and develop new business opportunities.
- Attend conferences and other relevant industry events to develop and maintain relationships with customers and generate more business opportunities and collaborations
- Identify customer needs, building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align strategies, and connect potential clients to marketing materials
- Follow up with leads generated through marketing efforts
- Perform competitive analysis toward an increased market share
- Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy
Requirements
- 5 + years of experience in a business development role, preferably in an agency
- A proven track record of successfully managing a team
- Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation
- Experience selling technology and design services
- Strong public speaking skills and the ability to comfortably deliver presentations to stakeholders
- Experience working with institutional clients
- Experience using Hubspot, Salesforce, or similar software to manage a sales pipeline, rank leads, and prioritize sales efforts
- A strong understanding of the procurement processes
- Proficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
- Experience selling to the US market
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to travel
