Success in this role will depend on effective collaboration with our stakeholders.Position Responsibilities:Project Work (60%)Participate in Agile-based projects and initiatives to deliver the best solutions, improve customer experience and effectively manage risksDevelop and implement business transformation roadmaps, change management plans, and training programs to ensure the successful adoption and utilization of technology solutions across the organizationProvide strategic guidance to project teams, leveraging expertise in business process optimization, data-driven decision-making, and technology enablementLead special initiatives as assigned by senior management, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to take on new challenges to support the company’s strategic objectivesContribute to and support the business through the application of change management best practices (e.g. stakeholder analysis, gap analysis, change planning, etc.)Tracks and reports work completed and escalates significant barriers and roadblocksCollaborate and manage end-to-end testing activities for projects that impact the Sales CentreSupport with the implementation of technology and telephony enhancementsBusiness Operations (40%)Analyze existing processes and develop business workflows intending to drive operational efficiencies and process improvementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand objectives, pain points, and requirements, and translate them into actionable strategies and solutions that drive business valueCoordinate the management and ongoing maintenance of business continuity plans including testing of ongoing releases and disaster recoveryAct as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders and stakeholders, advocating for best practices, innovative solutions, and continuous improvement in business processes and technology utilizationDevelop assessment and translation of business requirements into test casesContribute to the development and ongoing administration of CRM, sales and reporting toolsRequired Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the financial industry, primarily in business analysis or project management experiencePreferred Qualifications:Innovative thought leadership: doubt convention with the ability to drive organizational changeStrong business acumen and ability to shift comfortably from strategy to execution to drive resultsExceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on being a leader and team playerStrong organizational agility, being able to manage up and elevate the important role of Protection Solutions in the organization through visionWhen you join our team:We’ll empower you to learn and grow the career you want.We’ll recognize and support you in a flexible environment where well-being and inclusion are more than just words.As part of our global team, we’ll support you in shaping the future you want to see.#LI-HYBRIDAbout Manulife and John HancockManulife Financial Corporation is a leading international financial services provider, helping people make their decisions easier and lives better.
