Apply today!Job DetailsPRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service for creating interactive dashboards and reports.Strong understanding of data modeling, data transformation, and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for effective data analysis.Experience with connecting to various data sources (e.g., SQL databases, Excel, cloud services) and ensuring data integrity.Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into analytical solutions.Familiarity with Power Query and data visualization best practices to enhance user experience and engagement.Advanced development skills using SAP Business Objects SuiteETL development skills using SQL server, SSISAdvanced data modelling and data warehousing skillsCreating solutions for clients (internal and external) in a number of formats, including PowerBI, Excel, Crystal Reports, Business Objects Enterprise;Work with the other IT groups such as Infrastructure, Networks, Web Application Development to design BI solutions for internal and external useWorking with the technical team to establish protocols to extract data in a standardized process from a variety of data sources;Training of end users on the analytical tools developed by the Business Intelligence team;Writing functional and/or technical documentsAnalyzing large amounts of data to provide concise, targeted reports for internal and external clients;The Business Intelligence Specialist will also be assigned other duties and tasks as required from time to time and including possible travel (5%)EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor degree or above qualification preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalentMinimum 7 to 10 years of directly related experience in Business Analytics position(s);Advanced working knowledge with MS Office, SQL, Business Objects, Crystal ReportsGood understanding and knowledge of working with Databases, SQL and scripts.Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills;Familiar with Database design and modeling techniques, and ETL process.Experience with pharmaceutical industry or wholesale distribution industry would be an asset;Experience with IT project management would be an asset;Ability to read data models and comprehend database structures and relationships;Strong oral and written presentation skills;Strong ability to gather and analyze report requirements;Works well cross-functionally and within a small team;Excellent team player, and is not afraid to offer feedback.Any additional industry certifications would be an assetMINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:Advanced knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industryWorking knowledge of automated warehouse operating systemStrong business and financial acumenStrong analytical and mathematical skillsAbility to communicate effectively both orally and in writingEffective interpersonal and leadership skillsEffective organizational skills; attention to detailExperience with problem, Change and Incident Management practices (ITIL)Ability to consistently meet deadlinesExcellent problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficientlyExcellent presentation skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other Office ProgramsThe successful candidate may have daily contacts with unilingual English-speaking customers, patients or peers from cross-functional teams.What Cencora offersWe provide compensation, benefits, and resources that enable a highly inclusive culture and support our team members’ ability to live with purpose every day.
