Job Description:Grade UE05 (£27,979 – £32,332 per annum)College of Science and Engineering /School of Biological Sciences / Professional ServicesFull time contract: 35 hours per weekOpen ended: permanentWe are looking for a Business Support and Finance Administrator to provide administrative support for the School of Biological Sciences business activities.This post involves hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.The Opportunity:Supporting the School’s business activities, the post holder will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a consistent approach to the provision of efficient and effective customer service, with particular focus on financial reporting and reconciliation.Your skills and attributes for success:
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills developed in a similar office environment
- Proactive approach to seeking out information and to solving problems
- Experience of analysing and reconciling financial reports
- Demonstrable high level of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail
