How can you make a difference? 

In this position, you will have to:   

Support the process of VAT reimbursement, which includes but is not limited to:

Gathering all necessary documents.

Coordinating with other units as needed.

Verifying and checking information accuracy.

Compiling the register according to the approved template.

  • Gather information with clear direction from senior staff to support document drafting and report preparation by other team members.
  • Respond to other Units’ queries, escalating issues to senior staff as needed to ensure timely and accurate support service.
  • Assist in processing and managing routine administrative and financial tasks in the finance unit to contribute to effective and timely resource management.
  • Provide revision and proofreading services for standard documents, ensuring accuracy in documentation under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Maintain standard systems and files to ensure information is accurate, accessible, and up-to-date for functional needs.
  • Collaborate with a variety of team members, incorporating feedback as appropriate to enhance business support functions for staff.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned relating to the Finance unit within the role of a Business Support Assistant (Finance).

  • Education:  Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in Finance or a related functional area is preferrable.
  • Experience:  Four or more years of progressively responsible work experience in finance or the relative business stream with experience in general administrative work. 
  • Post-secondary education can compensate for some years of experience. For example, you will be considered as eligible if you have: 
  • One (01) year of work experience in combination with a Master’s Degree; 
  • Two (02) years of work experience in combination with a Bachelor’s Degree.

Knowledge & Skills: 

  • Proficient in the use of office equipment and computer software packages, such as Microsoft Word. 
  • Knowledge of work routines and methods to complete processes under minimal supervision. 
  • Uses tact and courtesy to give and receive information to a wide range of individuals. 
  • Ability to identify data discrepancies and rectify problems requiring attention. 
  • Ability to offer guidance or basic on-the-job training to more junior staff.

Language:

  • Fluency (level C) in both English and Ukrainian languages.
