You’ll contribute in complex projects to design strategic solutions aligned to CIBC’s enterprise architecture roadmap. As a Business Systems Analyst, you’ll support end-to-end project implementation and act as a subject matter expert in both business and technology. You’ll ideate and collaborate with a diverse team to create and build flexible, innovative solutions that deliver a best-in-class client experience. You will work closely with Product Owners to gather current business requirements and document refined solution requirements.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. To successfully perform the work, details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.How You’ll SucceedUnderstanding and Documenting Requirements – Work closely with business partners to gather complex business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions to ensure you meet project needs. Build strong relationships, lead discussions, listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements.Solution Design – Participate to make sure Dev team create client-focused solutions that meet business requirements. Prepare and validate solution design documents around areas such as scope clarification, solution requirements, and quality assurance.Leading and Mentoring – Support end-to-end project implementation as a subject matter expert, and provide guidance to a diverse team of technology and project professionals. Maintain a collaborative work environment and support team members to resolve organizational, operational, and process problems.Who You AreYou have 5+ years of experience in Business Systems Analysis within banking industry. It’s must to have experience working in an Agile environment. It’s an asset if you have experience working on retail lending, unsecured lending or credit card projects. Experience with PEGA case management system is highly preferred.You have a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Business, and/or a related field.
