Title: Full-time Call Center Agent

The call center agent is handling inbound calls from people who are inquiring about their health benefits, pensions and retirement plans.

Responsibilities:
The employees calling in are city employees and this is a hotline they have set-up for them to call. The environment is fast paced and 100% in office to start but will transition to hybrid down the line. Position is combination of customer service, data entry and handling administrative tasks as needed. Training is provided by the company on the software and how to navigate the phone calls (inbound and outbound)

Requirements:
– Associate degree or completion of 60 credits from an accredited college or high school diploma/educational equivalent and two years of satisfactory full-time experience in a call center environment
– Strong communication – both written and verbal
– Great active listening skills
– Exceptional interpersonal and rapport building skills
– A patient and empathetic attitude
– Strong time management and organizational skills
– Adaptability and flexibility
– Comfortable working in fast-paced environments Basic
– Troubleshooting skills
– Experience in customer service
– Working knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Outlook and Excel)
– Must be comfortable learning new software

Pay: $20/hour
