We are looking to add a Call Center Office Specialist at the Baptist Cardiac Access Center, located near Phillips Highway and Baymeadows in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time, day-shift opportunity. The hours for this position are typically between 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Depending on the needs of the office, hours may vary on occasion.

As the Call Center Office Specialist, you will work in a Call Center environment for the Cardiology Department, which consists of providing business services for patients and the healthcare system. Duties include patient registration, posting charges and payments, telephone protocols, and assisting patients as needed through telephone calls for the entirety of all Baptist Cardiology locations. The candidate’s ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, while also being people-oriented and patient-focused, will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient experiences

The Call Center Office Specialist will be responsible for:

• Scanning documents
• Serving as a liaison between our customers and our practice
• Managing a large amount of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
• Scheduling appointments as needed
• Preparing patient charts prior to appointments
• Submitting and obtaining external medical records
• Coordinating with third party vendors to complete medical record requests
• Following call scripts for handling different scenarios
• Identifying customer needs and providing solutions
• Data entry tasks
• Providing excellent customer service
• Managing Medical Records onboase queue and indexing documents in EPIC
• Managing Medical Record Requests onbase queue and sending requests to HIM
• Other duties as assigned
