Call Center Patient Access Representative II, Cardiology, Cardiac Access Center

Job Posting Summary

We are looking for an experienced Patient Access Rep II for Baptist Heart Specialists – Cardiac Access Center! This is a Full-Time Days opportunity.

This campus has onsite parking options and great benefits! The hours for this position are typically between 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday, but we are very flexible with schedules. We do not see patients or have providers at this Call Center. Depending on the needs of the office, hours may vary on occasion.

The responsibilities of the Patient Access Rep II include:

  • Managing a large amount of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
  • Managing Central Scheduling Voicemail
  • Scheduling patient appointments with BHS cardiologists
  • Following call scripts for handling different scenarios
  • Identifying customer needs and providing solutions
  • Managing Scheduling OnBase queue and index documenting in EPIC
  • Data Entry Tasks
  • Routing calls as appropriate
  • Providing Excellent Customer Service
