Location: Melville, NY

Schedule: Monday- Friday 9AM-5PM

PERMANENT OPPORTUNITY

As a Call Center Representative for a leading Health Network you will have the opportunity to work directly in a corporate office working to schedule appointments for patients, providers, and keep all medical records up to date. This PERMANENT opportunity opens the door to room for growth and advancement both personally and professionally throughout the network in multiple departments.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Set appointments via inbound/outbound calls from our Call Center. Heavy Call Volume at times
  • Update patient demographics and pre-register in EPIC, training will be provided
  • Capture, enter and report data accurately to management
  • Ensure services are provided in a timely manner
  • Ensure key performance indicators are met
  • Report discrepancies and identify areas of improvement to supervisors
  • Work on special projects and assignments as needed

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1-3+ years as a Call Center Representative
  • Healthcare Admin or Healthcare Customer Service preferred
  • High School degree or equivalent required
  • Must demonstrate good oral, listening and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi –task i.e. Manage telephone and computer simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently or with little supervision

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $22.00
