UNDP in partnership with the Group of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS), and the Worldwide Labour Group (ILO) are implementing a four-year mission “Supporting Casual Enterprises Transition In the direction of Sustainable Progress and Formalization within the African, Caribbean and Pacific Areas” funded by the European Union. The mission goals to unlock the potential of the casual economic system for inclusive development and transformation by growing and supporting the implementation of beneficial regulatory circumstances and related incentives for companies to formalize. As a part of the implementation of the mission, UNDP has issued a name for purposes for Innovation Problem Awards to competent and skilled Incubators and Accelerators who will help startups and early-stage innovators in Sierra Leone.

 

The particular goal of this name is to allow incubators and accelerators to help and mentor start-up and early-stage innovators of their efforts to advertise digital improvements that may enhance or improve their enterprise operations and incentivize them to formalize. The innovators and accelerators will present technical help to startup and early-stage innovators by means of numerous means resembling enhancing the technical capabilities, procurement of kit and software program licenses, increasing mentorship networks and enterprise growth providers in addition to  offering seed capital the place relevant.

 

Who Is Eligible to Apply?
