Job description
The Department of Politics and International Studies is looking for a proactive and experienced full-time administrator to provide critical support to the Centre for Development Studies.In addition to the day-to-day running of the Centre, providing support to the Centre staff and its students, this role has oversight of both the MPhil and PhD in Development Studies. It is also the Secretary to the Centre’s Management Committee, Postgraduate Education Committee and other meetings as required. The post line-manages two other administrators in the Centre.Previous experience of administering an academic programme in a busy office is essential along with the ability to work confidentially and with a wide range of individuals.
