Working with the Director, the CDT Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of administration whilst contributing to the strategic and operational development of the Centre for Doctoral Training in Digital Health.
This is bustling and expanding Centre for Doctoral Training in Digital Health. The CDT Manager will support a highly-multidisciplinary cohort of students from Health and Engineering backgrounds, all of whom are working on digital solutions for important challenges in Healthcare. Team working will be an important and daily part of the experience however the postholder will also be expected to work independently, making key decisions when necessary and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the Centre on such issues as strategic and operational planning; liaison with external partners including funding bodies; supervising the CDT Administrator administering student records; managing Centre finances, overseeing student and staff recruitment throughout its cycle; timetabling; and event management.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in a supervisory role and excellent customer service and administrative skills. We are looking for someone who can work collaboratively with internal and external contacts and have superb prioritisation skills.
