• Red Seal Machinist certification
• 5 years experience as Journeyman Machinist
• Familiarity with hoist and rigging equipment is an asset
• Excellent troubleshooting, time management and problem solving skills
• Sound knowledge of mechanical systems

Compensation

• Base payrate of $47.25/hour
• Extended Health Benefits (after first 40 days)
• Safety boot allowance

Our headquarters is in Mississauga, ON, but we proudly have nearly 2,600 employees spread across seven manufacturing plants in Quebec, British Columbia, Ontario, and Tennessee.Our facility runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Successful candidates will work dayshift Monday-Friday and must be available for call in’s, including weekends and nightshiftsJob Responsibilities:

• Operate manual milling machines, lathes, key seater, drill presses and CNC lathes
• Operation of balancing machines, roll grinders and SAP an asset
• Perform cleaning, lubrication, repairs or adjustments on parts, equipment, or machinery as required
• Consult blueprints or manufacturers’ manuals to ascertain proper machinery assembly or installation
• Draft and edit part drawings and write work procedures
• Reverse engineer parts and develop repair process as necessary

Job Requirements:
