CFO in Harrisonburg, Virginia

Description We are in search of an experienced CFO to manage our financial operations, based in Harrisonburg, Virginia, 22802, United States. The CFO will undertake a variety of tasks such as overseeing accounting functions, negotiating agreements, preparing annual budgets, and managing procurement. This role is pivotal in maintaining the financial health and transparency of our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management of accounts payable, payroll, internal auditing, billing, and reimbursement administration

• Participate in the preparation, administration, and revision of the organization’s annual budget

• Negotiate and prepare agreements with third party payers including Medicaid, Medicare, and Private Insurance companies

• Monitor and report on revenue and expense reports for various funding sources

• Supervise the preparation of annual financial statements and work papers, and coordinate audits with external CPA Firm

• Develop and present reports to the organization’s Board and serve as primary support staff to the Board’s Finance Committee

• Review and approve accounting, reimbursement, procurement, and property management purchases

• Administer the organization’s procurement reviews, evaluate and negotiate contracts, and screen requisitions for the purchase of goods and services

• Review financial transactions for affiliated non-profit organizations

• Implement and monitor purchasing policies and procedures

• Review and approve biweekly payroll transactions such as personnel actions, timesheets, travel reimbursements, payroll deductions, taxes, and payroll register

• Review and approve biweekly and monthly accounts payable registers. Requirements • Proven experience with 3M.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems.

• Familiarity with ADP – Financial Services.

• Ability to manage and improve business systems.

• Extensive experience with CRM.

• Comprehensive understanding of accounting functions.

• Experience in auditing.

• Knowledge of budget processes.

• Expertise in capital management.

• Proficiency in cash flow analysis.
