In its wider setting, the School benefits from Liverpool’s standing as a member of the UK’s leading Russell Group research-intensive universities and from its location in a city which combines strong cultural activity, excellent transport links, and regional beauty with a world heritage skyline and is highly ranked on quality of life in the UK, while remaining one of Britain’s most affordable cities.The University of Liverpool Management School (ULMS) is seeking to appoint a Chair in Sports Business as part of the drive to enhance its position as a world class School of Management, with a recognised expertise in Sports Business and Management, through its Centre for Sports Business, its Football Industry MBA and its record of executive education in the sports industry.The appointee will be an internationally recognised leader in the field of Sports Business and Management. The role of the Chair will be to contribute to the Centre for Sports Business, its management and development, supporting the impact of its research, executive education and outreach activities, and the building of the Centre’s international reputation.
