Cater Care Australia is seeking a talented and motivated Chef to join our team at MacIntyre Remote (1792) in Brisbane. As part of the CCS Operations department, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality culinary services in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications and dietary requirements
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Manage kitchen operations including stock control, ordering, and menu planning
  • Supervise kitchen staff and provide training as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
  • Contribute to creating a positive dining experience for residents or customers
  • Collaborate with management to achieve business objectives and targets

The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to thrive in a remote work setting. This is a Permanent – Full Time position offering an exciting opportunity for career growth within our dynamic team at Cater Care Services.

  • A proven experience as a Chef in a similar remote site or FIFO operation
  • Ability to manage and deliver high-quality food services in a remote environment
  • Excellent knowledge of menu planning, food preparation, and cooking techniques
  • Strong understanding of kitchen health and safety regulations
  • Experience managing stock levels and ordering supplies within budget constraints
  • Ability to lead and motivate a small team of kitchen staff
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Relevant qualifications in commercial cookery or equivalent
  • Familiarity with industry-standard kitchen equipment and utensils
