• Contribuant à la stratégie technologique d’Ericsson
• Développant des concepts, solutions et algorithmes novateurs
• Introduisant les solutions dans le développement de produits
• Présentant des prototypes, des démonstrations de concepts et des publications.

Un aperçu de votre rôle :

• Réaliser, documenter et communiquer des études de recherche, des mesures ou des simulations informatiques.
• Créer de nouvelles solutions techniques et les protéger par des droits de propriété intellectuelle (DPI).
• Représenter Ericsson dans un cadre externe, tel que la normalisation, les collaborations universitaires et les réunions avec les clients.
• Développer des outils d’évaluation, des démonstrateurs ou des bancs d’essai.

Vous apporterez :

• Formation : Doctorat ou Postdoctorat en informatique quantique. Une expérience pratique est un atout.
• Expérience en recherche sur les algorithmes inspirés de la quantique.
• Un solide dossier de publications et/ou de brevets en informatique quantique ou en informatique inspirée de la quantique.
• Expertise dans les algorithmes variationnels hybrides classiques-quantique.
• Expertise dans les piles logicielles pour l’informatique quantique et le développement logiciel.
• Connaissance des piles logicielles pour le cloud et les réseaux, un atout.
• Solides compétences analytiques et capacité à acquérir de nouvelles connaissances et à les appliquer dans le cadre de votre travail.
• Bonnes compétences en communication en anglais, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit.
• Créativité et capacité à travailler de manière autonome.
• Esprit collaboratif fort en travail d’équipe.
• Compétences en présentation et communication.

Our Exciting Opportunity:Location Montreal QCWe are now looking for a Researcher in Quantum Computing to build and transfer technology competence to ensure technology leadership and profitable business for Ericsson by:
Contributing to Ericsson technology strategy
Developing novel concepts, solutions and algorithms
Introducing the solutions into product development
Presenting prototypes, concept demonstrations and publications.You will:

• Perform, document and communicate research studies, measurements or computer simulations.
• Create new technical solutions and protect them with Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)
• Represent Ericsson in an external capacity such as standardization, university collaborations, and customer meetings
• Develop evaluation tools, demonstrators or test beds

To be successful in the role you must have:

• Education: PhD degree or Postdoc in Quantum. Practical experience is a plus.
• Research experience in quantum-inspired algorithms
• Proven record of publications and/or patents in Quantum-Inspired Computing or Quantum Computing
• Expertise in hybrid classical-quantum variational algorithms
• Expertise in software stacks for quantum computing and in software development
• Knowledge in cloud and networking software stack is a plus
• Strong analytical skills and ability to acquire new knowledge and apply it in the job
• Good communication skills in written and spoken English
• Creativity and ability to work independently
• Strong collaborative spirit when working in team
• Presenting & Communicating
