Full Time Chief Deputy Clerk / Bilingual Call Center Clerk
Monday to Friday (12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.) Saturday Rotation
The main function of the Criminal Division in-bound Call Center Clerk is to ensure excellent customer service to all incoming calls for information pertaining to records filed with Cleveland Municipal Court. Fluent in Spanish and English is required.
Examples of Duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Any duties necessary to ensure smooth operations of the Clerk of Courts office.
Accurately, quickly and courteously receive incoming calls and extract the maximum amount of essential information in a minimum amount of time.
Accurately and quickly utilize Criminal Records Management System for information pertaining to records filed with Cleveland Municipal Court.
Serve as an information resource to all incoming calls.
Responsible for the verification of warrants.
Responsible for the maintenance internal records.
Ensure proper bond information is given according to the Bond Schedule.
Provide assistance to customers utilizing CMC website.
Minimum Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Call Center experience a plus.

Must have intermediate or advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and PC computer skills; including data entry skills. Demonstrate ability to type 30 words per minute with minimal errors.
Fluent in Spanish and English is required.
Ability to work flexible hours; demonstrated good attendance and punctuality.
Capable of multi-tasking and has excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems and apply reasoning necessary to resolve issues.

Note: The work involves sitting for long periods of time, and repetitive motion. The employee must occasionally lift and/or push file cart weighing up to 25 lbs.
