• Design alignments, profiles, and corridors using Civil 3D.
• Produce all levels of drawings from concept to detailed design.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary design teams to develop functional designs in accordance with regulations, laws, and design standards.
• Develop quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and design basis documentation.
• Maintain high-quality standards through quality control processes.
• Conduct site visits and develop field documentation.
• Attend client and contractor meetings.

You bring to the role:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related qualification from an accredited University.
• Minimum 1+ years of experience working in a civil engineering or construction management role.
• Construction, design, or railway experience is considered an asset.
• EIT status with EGBC or be eligible to get EIT within 6 months of hire date.

Competencies (knowledge, skill, attributes):

• Proficiency in Civil 3D.
• Ability to learn quickly and take on stretch roles.
• Ability to deal with competing priorities and manage time appropriately.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Shows critical and creative thinking, problem solving, and brings forward solutions for our clients’ toughest challenges.
