Job Description:Safety-Kleen is looking for a Sales and Service Route Driver (SSR) to join their safety conscious team in Fort McMurray, AB! As an SSR, you will not only be responsible for safely operating a box truck for daily waste pickup and delivery services at a variety of customer sites but will also be required to execute upselling/cross-selling and generate new sales leads for SK products and services. You will drive our mission of sustainability by providing excellent service to our customers while promoting and delivering Safety-Kleen products and services.*Successful candidates must have a valid Class 3 License*Why work for Safety-Kleen?

Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner.
- Driving a Box Truck to different customer sites – picking up/delivering waste services, making drop offs to our disposal facilities.
- Upselling products/ services, generating new sales leads etc.
- Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups in a timely manner.
- Upselling/cross selling additional services
- Complete all required documentation and labeling.
- Work with route drivers to convert new sales opportunities.
- Grow the current customer base with new lines of business.
- Prepare and deliver customer quotes.
- Moving barrel dollies etc.
- Prospect and convert leads to customers.
- Achieve monthly sales targets.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Class 3 license and operating experience required.
- 2+ years of B2B sales/customer service experience.
- Environmental/Hazardous waste experience highly preferred.
- Tenacious, assertive, strong organizational skills and a hunter mentality.
- Proven ability to develop a book of business.
- Familiarity with CRM programs is a strong asset.
- Ability to be on the road 3-4 days per week, with potential for overnights as needed.
