EW1502168Academic Appointments are working with a Primary School to source a full time class teacher.The right candidate will have a strong understanding and experience of working with students across all ages with Special Education Needs including Autism, Social emotional and Mental Health needs. The children have a wide range of cognitive, social, emotional and communicative abilities and some present with challenging behaviours. Applications are welcome from both ECT’s and more experienced staff.The ideal candidate will be willing and enthusiastic about making a difference to these children’s lives and their education, and are passionate about being the best that they can be; providing opportunities for enriched learning and pathways to employment and independence.This role is to start immediately.
- Previous experience of working with Pupils with a range of additional needs.
- Hold QTS or have a relevant teaching qualification.
- Team Teach would be advantageous but not essential.
- Two satisfactory references.
- A valid DBS certificate subscribed to the update service, or be willing to obtain one.
