Start date: January 2025 startContract: Term-time onlyAs a Class Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, crafting engaging lesson plans and inspiring students to achieve their best. This role is open to individuals capable of delivering high-quality education to Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 pupils, adapting to the needs of young learners and nurturing their academic, social and emotional growth.Essential qualities that we are looking for:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students within Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning and encourages student participation.
- Assess, record and monitor pupil progress, using data to inform future teaching strategies.
- Establish effective relationships with students, encouraging their development and supporting their individual learning needs.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and a safe, organised classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with fellow teachers, support staff and parents to ensure students are fully supported and engaged in their education.
The Successful Candidate Will:
- Must have a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Be open to teaching at Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 level.
- Have a proven track record of effective classroom teaching, with strong knowledge of the national curriculum.
- Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage positively with students, parents and staff.
- Have an enthusiasm for teaching and a genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
- Have the ability to differentiate teaching approaches to meet the varied needs of all students.
- Commit to continuous professional development and best teaching practices.

- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Have an updated CV (with two relevant references from the last two years and covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps)
- An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
