St. Luke’s is a successful school located two minutes from the Jubilee and DLR station at Canning Town, the school also has its own car park.Our school is committed to developing the whole child alongside achieving strong academic results by helping our children to explore and develop their artistic and sporting characteristics. The school is one of only a hundred schools in England and Wales to have earned a fifth flag for our ‘Eco’ status and has thus been awarded ‘Distinction Status’, has a ‘Platinum’ participation mark in sports as well as being borough champs in several sports and has a strong relationship with the Newham Music. We also support several children in schools overseas in Burma and Ethiopia through fundraising and also organise regular events to raise funds and supplies for our local Foodbank.The school is seeking to appoint a Class Teacher to contribute to the continual school improvement agenda. Who has:
- The expectation that all children can achieve
- Experience in EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- A willingness to work inclusively with all children
