We’re seeking an enthusiastic Climate and National Park Strategy Officer to contribute to our strategic planning and performance function, with a strong focus on collaboration, relationship management and partnership working.
You will contribute to the development, delivery and monitoring of the National Park Management Plan and Authority Plan, helping ensure they are evidence-based, aligned with national policy, and shaped through meaningful engagement with partners. The team’s focus in the next couple of years is developing the next National Park Management Plan with a wide and complex range of external partners.
You will also play a role in coordinating the Authority’s response to climate change. This includes working to ensure the new Management Plan incorporates clear and deliverable climate adaptation measures, and that climate resilience is embedded across decision-making, plans and strategies, both within the Authority and in partnership with stakeholders.

This is a fixed-term contract that ends 1 year after the start date.
