The consultant will work under the supervision of the ROSA Communication and Advocacy and Climate teams, and in close coordination with UNICEF Pakistan, to conceptualize, design and produce a series of visual communication assets, showcasing UNICEF’s programmatic response to climate change through compelling stories of rightsholders receiving services.  The final content assets produced will be raw and post-produced photos with highly detailed captions, photo story, b-roll and edited videos.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have… 

Education:

  • An advanced university degree (master’s or higher) in photography, videography, film making or photojournalism.  Alternatively, a first level university degree (Bachelor’s) in combination with 2 years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
  • Knowledge/Expertise/Skills required 
  • Experience internationally delivering on high profile photography projects and contributes extensively to national and international media outlets
  • At least 7 years of proven experience in multimedia development and demonstrated ability to produce high quality, visual communication collaterals.
  • Reputed content producer with demonstrated experience in producing high quality content packages (films, human interest stories, photo and video packages)
  • Good understanding of designing for digital platforms.
  • Ability to conceptualize a full-content package for various platforms, telling a story and creating a design concept to link the content as part of the package
  • Should be able to partner with UNICEF to work in an inclusive way and increase brand value and trust with rightsholders and through the content produced.

Language Requirement:

  • Excellent command over written and verbal English language is a must.
