CLIMATE PROGRAM COORDINATOR

Purpose Statement:

The Climate Program Coordinator will play a pivotal role in leading, coordinating, and closely monitoring a wide array of climate programs and services across all departments and offices of the Philippine Red Cross (PRC). This role will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless and effective integration of climate-resilient practices into all activities undertaken by the PRC.

  • Capacity Building and Collaboration

Qualifications / Minimum Education:

Master’s degree in environmental management, Climate Change, Sustainable Development, or a related field (preferred). A University degree with 7 years of experience can be considered in place of an advanced degree.

Work Experience:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in managing and implementing climate change programs, preferably within the humanitarian or development sector.
  • Experience working with a national or international organization is preferred.
  • Experience working in the humanitarian or development sector (highly preferred).
  • Experience working with the Philippine Red Cross or similar organizations (a plus).
  • Experience in financial management and compliance (an advantage)
  • Experience in writing technical reports, case studies, and success stories.
