We’re united by a shared commitment to excellent and equitable health care.The successful applicant may be eligible for an annual full-time incentive of up to $2,000 each year until 2025 as per MOU #31 of the current MNU collective agreement.Position OverviewUnder the general supervision of, and in collaboration with the Chief Nursing Officer, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management philosophy of the Misericordia Health Centre, the Clinical Resource Nurse (CRN) is responsible for providing clinical expertise to clinical team members. The CRN is responsible for assuming a leadership role in coordinating patient care within the healthcare facility to ensure quality patient care outcomes by providing expert nursing care to patients by promoting an interdisciplinary patient centred approach to care based on best practice; teaching nursing staff; performing charge nurse functions; advancing nursing practice and performing other related duties as assigned.The CRN will be responsible for ensuring quality eye intake processes; will act as the nursing lead for Code Blue Response Team as well as providing clinical leadership and problem solving for all MHC Clinical Programs.Experience
