This is an opportunity to join the expanding team within Radiotherapy Physics providing clinical scientific and physics services to the Department of Radiotherapy and Oncology. The Department has a Managed Services Contract with Erga to provide a comprehensive radiotherapy service to the people of Norfolk. The radiotherapy equipment consists of five Varian TrueBeams, 2 CT-simulators, Eclipse treatment planning system, orthovoltage unit and Bravos High dose-rate brachytherapy afterloading machine. The Department is fully electronically networked and largely paper-free. The department has also recently installed SGRT (VisionRT) across all linacs and CT.The postholder will be expected to work shifts as part of an extended day working arrangement.
