We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Senior Lecturer in Oral Medicine and Medicine in Relation to Dentistry/Honorary Consultant in Oral Medicine at our Glasgow Dental Hospital and School which is the major dental referral and teaching centre in the West of Scotland based in the heart of the city centre of Glasgow. It benefits from comprehensive modern facilities for patient care, student training, and for education and research into dental and oral diseases and disorders. We provide staff with excellent opportunities to develop their clinical teaching skills.You will provide academic leadership in delivery of learning, teaching and scholarship activities in Medical and Biomedical Sciences in the context of oral health and disease. The focus of the post is Learning & Teaching but there will be opportunities for involvement in research. The clinical specialty focus is Oral Medicine and you will be expected to perform the duties of an Honorary Consultant in the specialty of Oral Medicine.The University of Glasgow’s Dental School is the largest in the Scotland and is consistently ranked amongst the top Dental Schools in the UK.
