Under the direction of a registered professional participate in the development and maintenance of high-quality physical health care through involvement in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluationThe role will require an individual with the ability to work effectively under the direction and leadership from a registered professional in the provision of care to a specific patient group within the Physical Healthcare Centre and / or directorateMain duties of the jobAssist, coordinate and participate in the provision of various clinics including phlebotomy, ECG, audiometry, ear care, basic wound care, basic foot and nail care etc.Undertake and record clinical observation as directed by a registered professionalTo participate in the provision of phlebotomy and coordination of requests from all departments/disciplines, after appropriate training has been completed.Maintain good order and cleanliness in the department and assist in preparation and delivery of physical health care clinics.Facilitate the monitoring and maintenance of supplies of materials and equipment within the care environment.Assist in the treatment for the patient within the in-patient environment.To maintain accurate, timely and relevant clinical records both written and computerised.
