We are looking for a Cloud System Administrator to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, promising a long-term engagement. As a Cloud System Administrator, you will be instrumental in innovating, automating, and enhancing our cloud systems, specifically focusing on Microsoft Azure technologies.

Responsibilities

• Drive innovation and improvement in our cloud systems, with a focus on automation.

• Leverage your knowledge of Microsoft Azure and its relevant technologies in cloud and hybrid environments to support and enhance our systems.

• Maintain and support Microsoft Azure technologies and services at an enterprise level.

• Utilize your experience in various operational areas, including Server Infrastructure Engineering, Office 365/Microsoft 365 Administration, Network Engineering, and DevOps.

• Apply your in-depth knowledge of scripting languages, such as PowerShell, Bash, Azure Cli, to automate tasks and enhance system efficiency.

• Embrace challenges and quickly learn new technologies to ensure our systems are at the forefront of industry trends.

• Demonstrate good problem-solving and communication skills in resolving customer inquiries and maintaining customer relationships.

• Work well with both individuals and teams to achieve our technological goals.

• Utilize your experience with helpdesk IT Service Management Tools (e.g., BMC Remedy / Service Now) to manage and resolve IT issues effectively.

• Deploy Infrastructure using CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.

• Manage and deploy container technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, AKS, and Docker) to enhance our system’s scalability and reliability.

Requirements • Proficiency in Amazon EC2, Ansible, Atlassian Jira, Auto Scaling, and AWS Technologies.

• Proven experience in API development and automation.

• Familiarity with backup technologies and cluster analysis.

• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and attention to detail.

• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.

• Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery.

• Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is a plus. Technology Doesn’t Change the World, People Do.®
