The Opportunity – CO CVA Programme Assistant / IM Clerk
Post location: oPt Country Office – Ramallah
Contract Duration and Level of Effort: 1 year
ROLE PURPOSE:
The Country Office Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) Programme Assistant/ Information Management Clerk will be part of the CVA CO team and main responsibility to document and data collection related CVA Programs. As such, the incumbent is actively involved in data entry, data base management for Gaza and the WB programs. Responsibilities will include supporting beneficiary identification and registration processes, supporting secondary and primary data collection as well as managing the documentation and archiving of records related to beneficiaries and distributions in the relevant databases.
The CO CVA Programme Assistant/ IM Clerck under the supervision of the CO CVA Manager will support in data collection related to Financial Service Providers and updating the relative sheets. In addition, part of the role will focus on supporting the MEAL Specialist in generating reports and data for analysis, in addition to CVA data visualization and products. The role will be responsible for documentation of CVA related payments.
In times of major humanitarian emergencies, the CO CVA Programme/ IM Assistant may be required to adapt their working hours and responsibilities beyond the standard role profile to address urgent needs.
SCOPE OF ROLE:

Role Dimensions: oPt CO is a high complexity country, multi-member interest, with an annual budget of around $40+m, and 100+ staff. Currently the program is experiencing a growth in funding and complexity due to the war in Gaza.
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
Key Area : Program Implementation:
- Plan day-to-day follow up of activities implementation according to the plans in coordination with the CVA team and report on progress and any challenges encountered.
- Communication, including calling and sharing relative communications for WB HHs, to ensure high redemption rates.
- Conduct sensitization sessions with beneficiaries and non-beneficiaries on the voucher/ cash distribution process in different target areas close to beneficiaries’ homes and distribution points.
- Conduct regular field visits to coordinate, implement and monitor cash assistance activities, and collect data in accordance with the project’s needs.
- Contribute to developing beneficiary selection criteria and verification of beneficiary lists.
- Assist project team in communicating feedback to beneficiaries and other stakeholders when requested.
- Maintain and file project documents and correspondence.
Key Area 2: Data Management and Documentation
- Supports documentation and filing for both WB and Gaza.
- Enters data in Cash App/Power BI or relevant dashboards for CVA.
- Leads verification and registration processes for WB CVA.
- Supports CO-CVA PM in Data collection related to FSPs (FSP mapping etc)
- Supports CVA MEAL Specialist in generating reports, data for analyses etc.
- Supports CVA MEAL specialist for CVA data visualization and products.
- Documentation of CTAs documents for both WB and Gaza.
- Report and follow up with FSPs tickets in coordination with MEAL team.
Key Area 3: Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL)
- Support the monitoring of CVA projects implementation against the established indicators detailed in the projects Logical Framework.
- Ensure daily activities at the field level follow implementation guidelines.
- Conduct field visits and meetings with beneficiaries and vendors related to CVA Projects/ Programmes.
- Actively participate in the regular CVA projects related meetings.
- Assist in the documentation of CVA lessons learnt, best practice and case studies.
Key Area 4: COMMUNICATION
- Assist in the preparation and coordination for any field visits related to the CVA project activities.
- Support Advocacy, Media, and Communications (ACCM) team in content preparation success stories and case studies related to CVA Programming.
Key Area 5: General
- Contribute in and participate in response activities as per the early action plan and the direction of the line manager.
- Perform other responsibilities reasonable to level of skills and experience, in agreement with the line manager based on changing in operation environment and urgent organization needs.

QUALIFICATIONS
• University degree in Social Science or any equivalent field.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Essential:
- Experience at least 2+ year in programme implementation.
- Experience in development and humanitarian programmes for Vulnerable Children.
- Ability to manage a complex and diverse workload and to work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as to work autonomously when required.
- Demonstrates good experience in using computerized programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, team-oriented work style, interest and experience of working in a multicultural environment.
- Flexible and willing to work long working hours where necessary.
- Understanding of Save the Children’s vision, mission, and commitment to its objectives and values
- Excellent English and Arabic language skills, with proven capacity to write clear, concise and results-based project reports
Desirable:
- Experience in developing and managing databases.
- INGO experience is a plus.
- Valid driving license.
- Experience in CVA Programs
