Communications and Marketing Specialist

The Green Partnership is a purpose-driven consultancy dedicated to creating positive change for
people, nature, and the planet. As a small but impactful team with a broad national client
base, our work spans from crafting corporate strategies for leading organisations to supporting
grassroots community projects. Our growth is fuelled by a deep commitment to better urban and
rural environments and the tangible benefits we help deliver.

As we expand, so does our potential to make a greater impact. We are seeking a passionate and
skilled Communications and Marketing Specialist to join our mission. This role is pivotal in
enhancing our outreach, amplifying our growth, and driving our message forward.

About the Role:

You will play a key role in shaping and executing our communications and marketing strategy,
ensuring our mission resonates across various platforms and forums. We are looking for someone
with hands-on experience in planning and curating campaigns, creating engaging content, and
managing digital media channels. Your ability to identify and coordinate media opportunities
and events may also be called upon as we continue to elevate our profile.

Equally, your passion for the environment or nature should shine through, making you a highly
valued edition to our mission-led team.

This is a part-time position, ideally 3 days per week, offering the
flexibility to balance your work with other commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute external communication strategies, focusing on innovative themes
    aligned with our mission.
  • Oversee the creation of formal publications and marketing materials, from concept to
    completion.
  • Design and write regular visual and written content across our digital channels (including
    our website and social media).
  • Collaborate with external specialists to storyboard and produce compelling video content.
  • Curate, distribute, and manage regular newsletters for clients and subscribers.
  • Support clients in integrating our work into their communication strategies.
  • Engage with industry peers to share best practices and promote key messages across our
    digital platforms.
  • Potentially coordinate media opportunities and events as we grow.

Ideal Attributes:

  • Proven experience in campaign planning and management.
  • Exceptional writing and copywriting skills.
  • Creative flair with strong design capabilities, preferably using tools like Canva or Adobe
    Illustrator.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • High computer literacy.
  • Experience in a consultancy or service-based industry.
  • A passion for the environment and nature.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary (£32-35k per annum, pro rata).
  • Performance bonus linked to company success.
  • 28 days of holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata).
  • Ongoing professional development opportunities.
  • Flexible working arrangements to support work-life balance.
