Marine Conservation Society Full-time, permanent Remote (UK only) £30,000 to £35,000
We’re looking for an experienced and skilled communications professional to help us tell compelling stories, build strong stakeholder relationships and enhance our reputation as one of the UK’s leading environmental charities.
As Communications & Campaigns Manager (Stakeholder Communications), you’ll manage reputation-focused communications and campaigns for a range of external audiences and internal stakeholders. You’ll lead stakeholder communications activity, support partnership PR initiatives, and create clear, persuasive content across online and offline channels.
You’ll report to the Head of Communications & Campaigns and work closely with colleagues across the organisation to translate complex marine conservation work into accessible, engaging multi-channel narratives.
You’ll play a key role in strengthening how the Marine Conservation Society communicates with staff, partners and wider stakeholder audiences.
You’ll be an experienced communications professional who can build relationships, manage competing priorities and create content that is accurate, accessible and inspiring.
It would also be helpful if you have experience with SharePoint intranet management, e-news design or distribution tools, social and digital media, environmental issues, marine conservation, or professional PR and communications qualifications.
This is a remote, full-time role with occasional travel to external meetings and events, so you’ll need to live in the UK and have appropriate eligibility to work. You’ll need to be comfortable working from home with remote teams, using your initiative and knowing when to involve senior colleagues.
We’re looking for someone proactive, supportive, approachable, responsible, and hard working — a strong team player who can stay calm under pressure, adapt to changing priorities and work positively with a wide range of people.
We offer a supportive, flexible and remote-first working environment, alongside a benefits package designed to help you balance meaningful work with your wellbeing.
