Aspire People have been recognised by the Crown Commercial Service for demonstrating our robust recruitment, selection and vetting process and we are looking for someone who will continue to maintain our high standards.You will be responsible for managing your own workload whilst completing a wide range of tasks that make up our candidate clearance process. The clearance process starts once the candidate has been interviewed. The process is completed once you have completed all of the relevant procedures and the candidate is made available to work and handed back to the sales consultant.During this stage, you will be required to liaise with candidates, and members of the Aspire People team to identify and obtain all references, any missing documentation and to ensure all relevant child protection checks are in place. You will also need to work closely with your team and other teams across the company in a pivotal role that contributes heavily to the continual supply of high-quality candidates to the business.General Duties:-Vetting and checking candidate files in ‘Working together to Safeguard Children’ and “Keeping Children Safe in Education” guidelines among others.
– Correspondence via telephone, email, (occasional post).
– Attaching documents and adding information to candidate files.
– Data entry onto our industry leading recruitment software.
– Maintain and update information on your pool of candidates.
– Applying for and chasing employment/academic references daily.
– Applying for and chasing required documents from candidates daily.
– Processing relevant online checks (including DBS checks)
– Checking candidate qualifications.
– Self-organisation of personal workload and meeting required KPI’s.
– Maintain a clean and tidy working environment.
– Correct, effective usage of the company front-end office system including activity logging.
– Adhere to all company policies.
– Other duties as required by the Compliance & HR Manager/Compliance Manager.
– Signing off files once all relevant checks are complete and references have been obtained.The desirable applicant for this role will:– Have good organisation skills, with the ability to multi-task.
