The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking qualified suppliers for the Supply, Delivery, Installation, Testing, Commissioning, and Training for Composting Facility Equipment for the Sorsogon City Centralized Composting Facility located at the Sorsogon City Sanitary Landfill Facility, Barangay Buenavista West, Sorsogon City. The procurement forms part of efforts to strengthen local solid waste management systems and enhance the processing and recovery of biodegradable waste through improved composting operations.
The required equipment package includes a Gantry Weigher, Modular Manual Sorting Line, Multipurpose Shredder/Crusher, Multi-Function Tiller/Cultivator, and Mechanical Oscillating Rotary Screen Sifter. The successful contractor shall provide complete supply, delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, operational and maintenance training, warranty coverage, and after-sales support in accordance with the technical requirements specified in the RFQ.
The intended outcome of this procurement is to improve the efficiency of biodegradable waste processing, support compost quality enhancement, and strengthen the City Government of Sorsogon’s capacity to implement sustainable and environmentally sound waste diversion and resource recovery practices.
