Job descriptionComputer Science Teacher – Bolton – February startWe are seeking a QTS Computer Science/ICT teacher for a secondary school in Bolton, who are working exclusively with ourselves, to join them teaching Computer Science key stage 3 & 4, ASAP, on an ongoing basis, likely to be for the remainder of the current academic year on a full-time basis.You will be required to become fully immersed in the department, attend departmental meetings and be available for parents evenings as and when required. As well as deliver lessons that are both engaging and academically appropriate to stretch the students in the classes. There needs to be a focus on AfL and progressing students in an engaging and enjoyable way.There is a headteacher who is quite new in the school that has taken control and increased expectations in relation to behaviour and curriculum. Due to the new leadership internal inspections have suggested the school is Good against the new Ofsted framework. Many pupils follow instructions and focus well on their learning. The students in the school feel safe including the SEN students. Some pupils, including those who attend the specially resourced provision for pupils with SEND, appreciate the activities on offer at breaktimes and lunchtimes. For example, some pupils enjoy being members of the brass group. Others are regular attendees at choir practice, netball, football and the dungeons and dragons club.Location Bolton

Hours 8:30 am 4pmEXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONSDegree educated with a good classification (2:2).
PGCE and QTS with Computer Science
Previous experience working of working with young people (which we can reference).
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided).
Up to date prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided).
Up to date behaviour management & FGM training in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided).TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to process a new application.
