Computer Science Teacher at Prestigious Private School in Banbury, OxfordshireOn behalf of our esteemed client, a prestigious private school in Banbury, Oxfordshire, we are seeking a highly qualified and innovative Computer Science Teacher to join their faculty. This full-time, permanent position commences in September and presents an exceptional opportunity for an individual passionate about technology and education to inspire young minds and shape the future of computing.The PositionAs a Computer Science Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering a dynamic and rigorous curriculum, fostering critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a lifelong love of computer science in your students. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to create a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages exploration, innovation, and academic excellence.Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging and challenging Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
• Develop and implement creative lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum objectives and cater to diverse learning styles.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic and personal development.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages participation, collaboration, and independent learning.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in computer science and incorporate relevant technologies and methodologies into your teaching practice.
• Contribute to the school’s extracurricular activities and enrichment programs in computer science.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
• Demonstrated experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary level, preferably in a private school setting.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages, software development, and computer systems.
