We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Connecting People and Landscapes in a Changing Climate, a collaborative conservation project. You will oversee delivery across a multi-partner programme, ensuring activity is well planned, delivered on time, within budget and aligned with the project’s aims.
You will bring strong project management, communication and relationship-building skills, alongside experience of managing staff, budgets, and reporting in line with funder requirements. You will be confident working collaboratively with partner organisations, farmers, land managers, communities and other stakeholders to support delivery of an ambitious landscape-scale conservation project.
The role will include acting as secretariat for project governance groups, monitoring progress against KPIs, coordinating quarterly reports and financial claims to funders, supporting the evaluation strategy and helping the wider project team to work confidently and collaboratively.
Please view the job description on our website via the link below for further details about the role and submit a completed application form. We ask you to return the optional equal opportunities form so that we can monitor our effectiveness in attracting diverse candidates.
The Connecting People and Landscapes in a Changing Climate aims to strengthen understanding of how nature-friendly, regenerative farming can support biodiversity, create more resilient landscapes and bring farmers, land managers and communities together through events, activities, knowledge sharing and wildlife monitoring. The project is led by Bat Conservation Trust, working with Devon Communities Together, Devon Wildlife Trust, Devon Wildlife Consultancy, East Devon National Landscape and South Devon National Landscape. The Project Manager will play a central role in coordinating this partnership, supporting project staff hosted across organisations and maintaining momentum across delivery, communications, evaluation, finance and reporting.
