Conservation Officer Nevis

The John Muir Trust has a rare opportunity to join our Central Region team – we’re recruiting
for a Conservation Officer to support our work in the Ben Nevis area. The Ben Nevis estate
comprises 1,761 hectare and includes the summits of three Munros: Ben Nevis, Carn Mor Dearg and
Aonach Beag; as well as woodland, waterfall and meadow.

We’re looking for someone who has a good understanding of what it’s like to work in the
mountains, and is passionate about land, people and communities. You should be confident in
engaging a wide range of individuals in wild places and connecting them to the work and ethos
of the John Muir Trust.

If successful, you will be a key member of our Central Region team. You will report to the
Nevis Property Manager and be responsible for supporting the delivery of our
Property Management Plan.
