
Worcestershire Wildlife Consultancy
We are seeking an organised and driven Business Manager for Worcestershire Wildlife
Consultancy, the ecological consultancy company of Worcestershire Wildlife Trust. The
successful candidate will be responsible for co-ordinating the work of the ecological
consultancy team alongside developing and maintaining strong relationships with
clients.
The work of the ecological consultancy team plays a vital role in delivering our vision of a
wilder Worcestershire where there is more nature everywhere for everyone. The postholder will
therefore play a key role in delivering the Trust’s three strategic goals set out in our
strategy to 2030 which are:
- Nature in recovery: 30% of land for nature by 2030.
- Action for nature: 1 in 4 taking action for nature by 2030.
- Sustaining our future: more diversity, more funding and carbon zero by 2030.
Worcestershire Wildlife Consultancy has been delivering high quality ecological services to
clients in Worcestershire and beyond for over 30 years. Our team provides sound and practical
advice across a range of ecological services. We are looking for someone to join the team to
help the consultancy to further grow and develop in line with the needs of our clients and best
ecological practice.
We are looking for someone with experience of business management and ideally some experience
of the work of ecological consultancies. To be successful in this role requires strong planning
skills, experience of delivering successful projects and effective communication with key
internal and external stakeholders.
Worcestershire Wildlife Consultancy is part of a network of Wildlife Trust Consultancies. As
such we can draw on the expertise and experience of 20 other consultancy teams across the UK.

Terms
- This is a part time, 21 hours per week position on a permanent contract.
- The role will be largely based at Worcestershire Wildlife Trust, Lower Smite Farm, Hindlip,
Worcester WR3 8SZ with regular travel within Worcestershire and occasionally further afield. - The Trust Pension Scheme is a Salary Sacrifice Scheme with Royal London. Employees
sacrifice a minimum of 4% and the Trust then contributes an additional 8% plus the Employers
National Insurance savings made due to the salary sacrifice element. - Annual leave is 33 days (inclusive of eight bank holidays with three days required to be
used to cover the closure between Christmas and New Year) increasing by one day per three years
of service to a maximum of 38 days. - Group Life Assurance policy worth three times annual salary.
