What Clinical Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Clinical Operations is responsible for providing clinical specialties support and expertise in the areas of advice and consulting, research and patient care to internal business units and external customers.

The CardinalASSIST® Operations Consultant is responsible for cultivating and maintaining on-going customer relationships with an assigned set of customers. Provides new and existing customers with the best possible service and recommendations in relation to the program.

Location – Remote role (targeting candidates nationwide, though ideally within a commutable distance of a major airport). Expectation of 25% travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Implementation, training, and ongoing support of customers who utilize the Cardinal Health automated replenishment program, CardinalASSIST®.

  • Demonstrates an understanding of pharmacy workflow, medication logistics, automated dispensing cabinet technology, and patient safety.

  • Utilize proprietary pharmaceutical ordering software for managing customer accounts that participate in the program.

  • Works onsite with the customer during implementations and onsite business reviews, as needed.

  • Provide ongoing support (remotely) to the customer through monitoring and analyzing metrics.

  • Responsible for updating monthly scorecard that demonstrates program value and performance metrics.

  • Collaborates and develops plans with customers on improving program and automated dispensing cabinet performance.

  • Identifies and communicates savings opportunities to customers.

  • Collaborates with sales, account management, distribution center and inventory management teams to ensure consistency in product delivery and ensure that the CardinalASSIST® program operates at peak performance for each.

  • Assist in developing new enhancement ideas for the CardinalASSIST® program and other supply chain management solutions, supporting the acute care pharmaceutical segment.

  • Build and maintain long-term trusted relationships with customers.

Qualifications

  • Ideally targeting individuals with 4+ years of relevant work experience

  • Acute hospital pharmacy experience is a plus, but not required

  • Ability to travel up to 25%

  • Proficient in Microsoft office and video conferencing technology

  • Excellent communication, presentation, troubleshooting, and interpersonal skills

Anticipated Pay Range $78,500.00 – 112,100.00 USD
