The Role:

 

Oxfam in Indonesia is looking for Consultant for Project Learning to understand the project context by literature review and interview the related staff who involved in the project. By understanding the project context, the consultant is required to develop further evaluation/assessment methods, which is not only focus on the project/campaign results but emphasizing the project/campaign process itself. However, it is still important to get to know the impact of our (online/offline) campaigns that carried out. Based on this evaluation, the consultant is also required to design and facilitate sensemaking and learning workshop as a space for Oxfam and its partners to give their feedback on the results. At the workshop, discussions can also be held with experts to find out trends and the future of climate action in accordance with the vision of Oxfam and partners. Furthermore, we can also learn from other best practices of similar campaign activities that carried out other organizations. Finally, the consultant is expected to prepare a basic concept note containing the achievements of the project, then any gaps that arise from discussions that occurred during the workshop.

 

Expected Output: 

The expected output from this consultation are:

  • Evaluation and learning report that provides a reflection of the achievements of the project during 2022 – 2024,
  • Sensemaking and learning workshop design,
  • Facilitation of sensemaking and learning workshop, and
  • A concept note for future project developments.

 

Methodology:

Qualification: 

Individual/small group consultant interested in submitting a proposal should have the following criteria:

Required

  • Excellent understanding and experience on handling climate change media communication and campaign issues,.
  • Excellent communication to write clear and concise reports writing, both in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • Experienced in conducting evaluation or assessment of campaign project.
  • Experienced of working with participatory methodologies.
  • Experienced to maintain safeguarding protocol to manage data collection process.
  • Experienced in designing and facilitating learning workshops (in Bahasa Indonesia) in an engaging and participatory manner.
  • Excellent communication skills as a facilitator.

Preferable

  • Experience working with international and local NGOs.
  • Ability to comply with specific requirements and strict deadlines.
