Consultant Geriatrician – Acute

Whipps Cross University Hospital, part of the Barts Health NHS Trust Group is looking for afull time Consultant Geriatrician to join our Older People’s Services (OPS) team based,at Whipps Cross Hospital site.The posts offer an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and to develop new models of working and services that support all older people attending the hospital and within the local community. Whipps Cross Hospital serves a local population with a high degree of frailty and within the Barts Health Group is being developed to be a centre for Geriatric Medicine.In particular, this post will enable the post-holder to participate in reshaping local acute frailty services delivery and contribute to the departmental 5-year strategy plan.Main duties of the jobThe posts offer an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and to develop new models of working and services that support all older people attending the hospital and within the local community.
