If living in a place offering the convenience city living, but with some of the most idyllic countryside in the UK on your doorstep, Herefordshire could be the perfect place for you.Wye Valley NHS Trust’s Department of Haematology is seeking to recruit Consultant Haematologist to join the current team and consolidate a sustainable consultant-delivered service to the population of Herefordshire and East Powys. The department offers first class care within high quality, dedicated facilities, delivered by a friendly team which provides a comprehensive range of services up to Level 2a. Candidates with wide general training in Haematology are the priority and special skills to support or complement the existing consultants would be welcomed. The department works closely with colleagues at Worcester Acute Trust (where MDT, level 2b and 3 services are centred) and colleagues at our main tertiary centre, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham.There is flexibility within the department to accommodate the skills of the successful candidates.
