This will be in addition to patients referred for a neurology advice under other specialities.Every Thursday morning, a Multi-disciplinary handover meeting is held, and it is expected that all Consultants will attend this meeting. The Neurology department runs a Hyper-Acute Neurology Unit (HANU). The creation of the HANU is part of a wider programme within the Trust to enhance the provision of same day Emergency Care (SDEC).
